Below is an example of an email that goes out after the first lesson.
Hello Awesome Families,
What a great first day it was! I enjoyed meeting all of you. Just a few items to go
over briefly now that we've had our 1st lesson together.
1) Be sure to bring 3 towels per child, we do not want them leaving chilly nor do we
want the chance of shared germs.
2) If I missed getting a first day picture of your child with my ISR photo opp, I will
have it available again tomorrow. Please send any photos you were able to snap
today to me if you haven't already. During lessons you can take pictures any day but video can only be taken on Fridays.
3) Most importantly, I can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow with your little ones.
Just know that emotions are generally the hardest on day 2 as they know enough to
know they will be doing something new and different but not enough to know that I
will never, ever let anything happen to them. So expect some resistance, even from
those that made today look easy. It is important to stay away from any words like:
scared or afraid and only use positive talk surrounding their awesome performance.
If you are not sure what to say, just follow my lead.
Thank you so much for making our first day fantastic! See you all at the pool
tomorrow.
