Ladder in Pool

How Infant Swimming
Resource Works

Ten Minute Lessons.
Four Days
a Week.
For Six Weeks.

ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) is a specialized survival-based swim program designed to teach infants and young children how to save themselves if they fall into water, plus how to swim for fun.

A skill for a lifetime, not just a season.

Traditional lessons can take years to teach kids to swim fully independent.

ISR is a specialized 6-week intensive. In less time than a single school grading period, your bug will learn the self-rescue skills they need to survive an accidental fall into water.

What does it cost?

What they learn in the pool, they keep forever.

Lessons Start At:

$110 Weekly for 6 weeks

( + a one time $105 separate Registration Fee to the national ISR organization)

Are there payment plans?

Yes the weekly option above — Or if you pay $600 in full or in two $300 deposits, you can save $60.

What if cost is still a concern?

I offer discounts for families with multiple swimmers, LivRite members, veterans, and first responders.

Reach out to my email (caitlin.haskett@infantswim.com) to get all the details.

What Parents Say

I’d pay double now that I see the results… [my youngest] has acquired skills at 2 that took [my oldest] 8 summers.

Things You Might Be Thinking About…

Will my little bug cry during lessons?

Probably some, yes — and that's okay. Learning something new and unfamiliar is hard, especially for little ones who can't yet understand why. What I can promise is that every lesson is designed with your child's emotional safety in mind alongside their physical safety. ISR's methodology is carefully sequenced so children build confidence as they build skills. Most kids who start out resistant become kids who don't want to get out of the pool. The short-term tears are worth the lifetime of safety.

My child is nervous around water. Can they still do ISR?

Absolutely — in fact, this is exactly the kind of child ISR was designed for. A child who is fearful near water is a child who needs these skills the most. I've worked with hesitant kids and I know how to move slowly and build trust before we ever ask them to do something hard. You don't need a water-loving kid to start. You just need to show up.

Is this safe for my infant?

What age is too young — or too old?

ISR has been teaching survival swimming for over 50 years and has delivered more than 15 million lessons worldwide. Before your child's first lesson, I collect detailed health information through ISR's national registration process so that every lesson is tailored to be safe for your specific child. I'm also trained to read your child's cues and adjust accordingly. No two lessons look exactly the same because no two kids are the same.

Lessons start at 6 months old, as long as your child can sit unassisted. There's no upper age limit — ISR is a method that any age responds to and every age group learns skills appropriate to where they are developmentally. If you have a toddler or preschooler and you're wondering if you've missed your window, you haven't. Or if you have a senior in your life that wants to learn to float, they could learn, too! Reach out and we'll find the right fit for your bug.

What if we miss a day?

Life with little bugs is unpredictable — I get it. If your child is under the weather, you shoot me a text. ISR is full of awesome protocols for everything, from ear infections to rashes. For other missed lessons, we'll do our best to work around it, but please know that consistency is a big part of why ISR works. The more consistent we can be, the faster your child progresses. Lessons canceled by me are always made up. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.

Do you travel to home pools?

Potentially! I can make travel arrangements based on my schedule, your pool conditions and location, and how many little bugs you have swimming. For large families or a group of neighbors wanting to power through and get several bugs all skilled in one go, this can be a great option. Depending on pool location from my home, there could be a travel fee. Shoot me an email and we can see if it’s a possibility.

Not ready for lessons yet, but still want your bug safer near water?
No problem.
